Buying a computer tip: Test monitors for size, shape, glare, comfort before you buy

Green tip : Keep your printer & other peripherals off or in sleep mode unless you need it to save electricity
Windows tip : If people share a computer they should each have their own username and settings
Hardware tip: Dust is bad for your computer over time, keep it clean and don't block the fan
Just for fun : Scan in your old pictures to preserve them (and don't forget to backup digital pics to CD/DVD just in caae)
Email tip : Use bcc instead of cc for most non-business mail. This prevents unintended sharing of email addresses.
Printing Tip : Some printer manufacturers offer special photo inks to enhance your picture printing.
Email tip : Instead of forwarding mail with all the addresses in it, highlight the part you want to send and copy/paste in a new mail.
Buying a new computer : When changing systems, sometimes your old apps will not work with the new OS or CPU. Check before you buy.
Printing Tip : Many printer drivers have a Draft mode that you can use to save ink before printing your finalalized copy. (via WPToner)

Security tip : Update your antivirus daily
